ABOUT US

SAN MARIA High School is situated on three and a half acres of lush ground amidst the luxuriant landscape of Jangaon, 80KM North of Hyderabad away from the pollution and bustle of the city with an atmosphere conducive to wholesome and historic learning for children. It was established on 6th April, 2015, a Unit of St. Mary’s Educational Society, Jangaon district, Telangana and was incorporated to impart quality education to the students. It is an English medium school here in Jangaon district and is currently in the process of getting affiliated to the CBSE Board. It takes great pride in providing value based quality education to develop all creative aspects of a child’s personality.

The school motto is “VINCE TE IPSUM” which when translated from Latin would mean “Conquer Thyself’.  The  school  aims  to  reach  the  same  or  even  higher  level  of  standards  set  by  the establishment under the umbrella of the of St. Mary’s Educational Society, Jangaon.

It has a rich and dynamic curriculum with strong emphasis on creativity and exploration of the young minds moulds our young students into individuals who are articulate, confident, strong and independent yet kind and caring.

Currently the school has a total strength of 950 plus students and 66 Teaching and Non-Teaching staff. The school was founded in 2015 from LKG to Grade 5 and now currently it has till Grade X with the inclusion of the Nursery dept. too. The school building comprises of an Amphitheatre, Smart-Boards, a library, Laboratories and two playing fields. We not only provide Scholastic Education but Co-Curricular activities too such as Dance classes, Keyboard and Guitar classes, Karate and Yoga. We do provide other Co-Scholastic activities too such as Spell Bee, Quizzing, Elocutions, Cultural programs and Educational Field trips or Excursions. We also conduct Electronic Education with the use of the projector based on the lessons taught in reference to the syllabus given in the textbook.

High discipline is the key note of success in every sphere. Without it, there can be no progress. Hence the sense of discipline needs to be infused in the mind of the children. The Managing Committee of the School reserves the right to waive or add to any of the rules contained in the prospectus without assigning any reason what-so-ever. The final interpretation of any rule or regulation mentioned in the prospectus rests entirely with the Governing Body of the School. Their interpretation shall be final and binding on the parents as well as the students and no court of law will have jurisdiction to decide on its validity.

Hostel:

SAN MARIA High School has separate Campus for Boys and Girls, with hygienic and spacious hostel facilities. With individual beds, well-furnished dormitories, and clean sanitation facilities the hostel boasts of a homely atmosphere. Purified mineral drinking water is available at all times. Under the vigilant and caring warden, the student’s security and well-being is taken care of.

Dietary:

Healthy, nutritious and clean vegetarian food, prepared in hygienic conditions is served to the students daily. Wide range of tasty food is served.

Medical Facilities:

The school has a qualified doctor who visits the hostel regularly to after the health of students. Qualified, trained and residential nurse is also available in the campus to ensure immediate and emergency medical needs of the students. Students requiring special medical care are taken to specialized hospitals, with due notification to the parents.

Personal Care and Counseling:

All the students are treated equally irrespective of caste, creed, status and intelligence. The students are taken individual care in studies, personal life and discipline. All the students in need are given due attention and are given counseling by experts. Seminars at regular intervals by professionals in different fields help the students in holistic growth.

Various cultural events and religious festivals of all religions are celebrated within the campus. An open air stage gives an opportunity to all the students to come at regular intervals to gain confidence and to appreciate the value in the others.

Co-curricular and Extracurricular Activities:

Extracurricular cultural competitions like singing, dancing, art & craft, magic show and skits bring out the hidden talents in the students. Professional training is given to students in all the above fields.

Sports and Games:

Spacious play ground provides ample opportunities in Sports and Games with different courts like Football, Volley ball, Basket ball, Khabadi, Netball and Cricket. Specific time is allotted daily for sports and games, considering the fact that physical fitness of a child is as important as intellectual development. Students are given opportunities to participate in Regional, District, State and National level sports meets.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

A Student seeking admission to any class in our school will be eligible for admission to that Class only if he/ she:

1. Has been studying in a school recognized by or affiliated to CBSE Board or Telangana Board of Secondary Education or any other recognized Board of Secondary Education in India or Abroad.
2. Has passed qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination making him / her eligible for admission to that
3. Satisfies the requirements of age limits (minimum or maximum) as determined by the State

/ Central Government and applicable to the govt. of Telangana.

A Child seeking admission should produce:

1. The School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate signed by the Head of the Institution last
2. Document(s) in support of his / her having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination
3. Date of Birth Certificate issued by the respective government
4. Duly filled-in application form attached to this prospectus or which is availed from the school office, which is duly signed by the candidate and the parent /
5. The consent of the parents to admit the child into the school and hostel and an undertaking, which is countersigned by the Director /
