We are delighted to announce that this initiative will continue in May 2025 for the 2025–26 academic session. Additionally, on Vasant Panchami, we offered the same waiver, leading to 54 new admissions for the upcoming academic year. We encourage you to spread the word so more families can benefit from this opportunity!

Summer Camp & Holiday Assessments

Every year in May, we organize an exciting summer camp to keep children engaged and help them discover new talents. Open to both our students and those from Jangaon, the camp offers a variety of activities, including sports like cricket, basketball, netball, and badminton, skill development programs such as handwriting improvement and dance, and music lessons for guitar and piano. This initiative has proven to be highly beneficial in past years, and we look forward to another enriching and fun-filled experience for our students this year! As we approach the summer holidays, students will be given holiday homework assignments to keep them engaged and reinforce their learning. We seek your cooperation in ensuring that children complete their tasks on time. Your valuable feedback and suggestions are always welcome as we strive to make learning more effective and enjoyable. Let’s work together to make this break both productive and refreshing for our students.
Curriculum

In Pre-Primary, we are currently using the Oxford curriculum, but based on parent feedback and teacher concerns, we are considering a change. We welcome suggestions from parents to ensure the best learning experience for our young learners.
For the Primary section, we transitioned from One Learn to E-DAC last year, and after careful review, our management has decided to continue with E-DAC for the next academic year. We appreciate parent feedback on this curriculum and look forward to any suggestions to enhance our students’ learning journey.
For the High section, we are currently using NCERT textbooks following the NEP policy To support IIT aspirants, we have introduced EDOS, a digital platform that provides content, detailed performance analysis, and direct updates to parents through the EDOS Parent App. We have structured two IIT foundation courses—Foundation and Foundation Plus—and students have been placed in Sections B and C based on an entrance exam, while Non-IIT students continue in a separate section
Co-Curricular Activities

1.ABACUS:- As part of our co-curricular activities, we have introduced Abacus training in collaboration with Vishwam Edutech for Grades 1 to 5. This program has greatly enhanced our students’ confidence in mental math and visualization skills. Our school had the honor of hosting the Zonal Level Abacus Competition, where students from 17 schools participated. We are proud to announce that our students secured First and Second prizes in two levels. Different levels were assigned to different grades, and we are thrilled to see our students excel with speed and accuracy using the abacus!
- Handwriting(Calligraphy):-
This year, we introduced Handwriting (Calligraphy) as part of our co-curricular activities for Grades 1 to 7, with a dedicated teacher Sushma mam guiding the students. We are delighted to see a 60 to 70% improvement in their handwriting. With your continued support, we aim to achieve 100% improvement in the next academic year. Recognizing its impact, our management has decided to continue this program to further enhance our students’ writing skills.

- ULIPSU ( Skill Development program):-
This year, we introduced ULIPSU, a skill development program, free of cost for Grades 3, 4, 7, and 8. Students explored various skills such as life skills, coding, language and communication, and advanced concepts like design thinking, innovation, finance, entrepreneurship, and AI-driven data science. Their enthusiasm was evident as they actively completed their interactive learning modules (ILMs).
To enhance their learning experience, we set up a dedicated computer lab with a 1:1 student-computer ratio. As suggested by ULIPSU, we hosted a Skill Darbar, where students showcased their talents by creating their own coding games. Seeing the overwhelming response from students and parents, we plan to extend this program to Grades 1 to 8 next year, fostering early skill development in young minds.
- ULIPSU ( Skill Development program):-
4.Basic classes:- To strengthen our students’ foundational learning, we introduced Basic Classes two years ago, and the results have been remarkable. These classes are conducted in the Primary section from 3:20 to 4:20 PM for Telugu, Hindi, and Math, followed by English from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. For Mid School, sessions are held in the morning.
To assess student progress, we conducted a test and discussed the results with parents. The positive feedback and appreciation from parents have encouraged us to continue these classes in the coming years to further enhance student learning and confidence.

SDP ( Skill Development program):- This year, we introduced the Skill Development Program (SDP) to enhance students’ learning beyond textbooks. The program was implemented in three phases: First, students participated in field trips, where they gathered information and later shared their observations with their classmates. Second, we organized a seminar presentation, where students confidently spoke on a topic in the presence of their parents, teachers, and peers. Finally, at the end of the year, students will engage in a project presentation, creating models and explaining their concepts. This program has significantly boosted confidence, communication, and critical thinking among students, making learning more practical and engaging.
- Dance Classes:- As part of our co-curricular activities, we have introduced dance classes with a dedicated period for Grades 1 to 4. Students have been actively learning and performing at various school celebrations, showcasing their enthusiasm and talent. This initiative has also helped us discover hidden talents among our students, encouraging creativity and confidence in them.

7 PICNICS:- Picnics are a much-awaited part of our school year, giving students a refreshing break and memorable experiences. Every year, we organize class-wise picnics, with this year’s trips scheduled in October and November. Students of Grades 3, 4, 7, and 8 went on October 11th, Grades 9 to 12 on October 19th, and Grades 1, 2, 5, and 6 on November 8th. Additionally, we arranged excursions for high school students every alternate year, and this year, they enjoyed an enriching five-day tour of Karnataka. These outings help students unwind, explore new places, and create lasting memories with friends!
- FIELD TRIPS:-
Field trips are an integral part of experiential learning at our school. In August, primary and pre-primary students go on trips aligned with their skill development needs, while mid-school and high school students have their field trips in October. These visits are not just about exploration but also about learning—students take notes and participate in a seminar the next day to enhance their observation skills, critical thinking, and communication abilities. These experiences make learning more interactive, engaging, and meaningful for our students!

Subject Enrichment Classes:- In the academic year 2024-2025, we introducaed Subject Enrichment Classes for Grade 10 students, conducted by subject experts from Hyderabad. As planned, we successfully held 10 enrichment sessions in Math and Science during September.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, we have planned these sessions from the beginning of the year, ensuring four sessions every two months. These sessions will not only provide in-depth topic explanations but also include worksheets with competitive-based questions to help students strengthen their concepts and problem-solving skills. This initiative aims to enhance learning outcomes and better prepare students for their board exams and competitive tests. We also conduct career counselling for students from Grade 6 to 12 twice a month on Wednesdays.
Capacity Building Program (CBP):- For the academic year 2024-2025, we successfully conducted 50 hours of training programs for our teachers to enhance their skills. Through CBSE-led online and offline training, along with private organization sessions, we are equipping our educators with updated teaching methods.
Our focus is on developing 21st-century skills among students, such as creative and critical thinking, which are essential for excelling in a competitive world. Teachers are also trained in NEP-based modules, modern teaching styles, and technology integration to effectively meet the evolving needs of our students. These continuous efforts ensure that our faculty stays ahead in providing quality education and guiding students towards academic success.

Auditing for Teachers:- To enhance teaching quality, we conducted auditing sessions for teachers by experts who observed classroom teaching and provided valuable feedback and suggestions for improvement. This initiative helps our teachers to shine and deliver their best for the students.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, we have planned four auditing sessions annually. In addition, there will be bi-monthly Classroom Observations (CRO) by the Vice Principal and Chief Coordinators. This continuous supervision ensures that our teaching methods are constantly refined, with the ultimate goal of nurturing students’ logical and critical thinking skills, and preparing them for future challenges.
School Knot App – Enhancing Communication & Efficiency:- At San Maria High School, we have integrated the School Knot App to streamline various academic and administrative processes. This platform allows parents and students to stay updated with attendance records, homework assignments, and marks, including class-wise and subject-wise analysis. It also plays a vital role in maintaining discipline by ensuring clear communication between teachers and parents. Important circulars, reminders for fees, and payment options are easily accessible, ensuring transparency. Additionally, the app serves as a platform for addressing complaints and queries from parents effectively. To foster reading habits, students can also browse and select books from the library from home itself. This initiative has significantly improved engagement and efficiency in school operations.

LIBRARY- DIGITALISED:- Our school library is evolving with the times! For the academic year 2024-2025, we had 6,619 books, and for 2025-2026, we plan to add more skill-development books as per CBSE guidelines. Excitingly, we are introducing a digitalized library where students can book reading slots, borrow books for reference, and even reserve them through the School Knot App. Our collection includes language development books, subject reference materials, and phonics-based storybooks for primary students. High school students will have access to a variety of publications, especially in Math and Science, for deeper subject enrichment. Students from Grade 5 to 12 can borrow up to three books using their library card. This initiative aims to foster a strong reading culture and enhance knowledge among students. Happy reading!
DIVISION OF SECTIONS:- We understand that there have been concerns regarding the division of sections, and we highly value your suggestions and feedback on this matter. To better support our slow learners, we are planning to create a separate section dedicated to their individual learning needs. The other sections will consist of students who are performing well in their studies. This approach aims to provide more tailored attention and ensure that each child can progress at their own pace.
New Pre-Primary Building & Swimming Pool:- We are excited to announce that the school has started the construction of a new building just outside the premises, which will accommodate the Administrative Dept., the Playschool and the Pre-Primary department. Additionally, the Swimming Pool too will be built for this next academic session.
Top ten CBSE schools in Hyderabad:- One of our proudest achievements this year is being ranked amongst the Top Ten CBSE Schools here in Hyderabad, as recognized by Silicon India Magazine. This accomplishment reflects our commitment to excellence in education and the growth of our school community.
